| Junior Research Fellow (J.R.F.) Or Project Associate | Essential: B. E/ B. Tech in any Life Sciences or Engineering discipline with minimum 60% marks. OR M. Sc/ M. Tech in Biology and related fields/ Physics / Computer science and related fields with minimum 60% marks. Experience: Expertise in programming using MATLAB, Python or related languages is desirable | The J.R.F. will be involved in the various tasks of this project, such as Adapt existing image analysis codes to process movies obtained from various microscopes Develop new image analysis codes using MATLAB or python for tracking cells within an embryo and segmenting cell boundaries | Age: Preferably below 28 years on date 01.07.2024 Fellowship: If Qualified in any national level test such as NET, GATE, JEST or Entry test of IISC, TIFR, IISER etc., it will be a JRF position with a fellowship of Rs.37000/- (JRF) + HRA as admissible. Else, it will be a project associate position with a fellowship of Rs. 25000 + HRA as admissible | Temporary appointment for a period of one year with a possibility of extension for one more year. The extension is subject to satisfactory performance. |
