Indian Coast Guard Service
This department runs under Ministry of Defence. Its main objective is to safeguard the coastal area of India. It is expert in providing life-saving services on waters, ground and in air. It is equipped with high tech vessels, air crafts and vehicles to undertake complex operations.
The employment in this department comes under the purview of central government. All jobs are eligible for pension schemes. In order to recruit most suitable candidates it conducts different screening exams. One those exams are COAST GUARD ENROLLED PERSONNEL TEST (CGEPT).
